Intelbras came into being, with capital 100% domestic and its own technology. 

 

The 80’s

1987

It launched the first PABX with domestic technology.

 

The 90’s

1990

It directed its performance toward private initiative focusing on conventional telephones and small PABX switches.

1992

It implemented a new administrative philosophy: the Program of Quality and Participative Management.

1996

With the certification ISO 9001 it started the export process.

 

The 2000’s

2001

1st Award of Exame Magazine: "The 100 best companies to work for in Brazil".

2003

It increased its exports, aiming at the main markets in the world.

2006

Division into business units.

2007

Creation of the Intelbras Group, with the acquisition of other companies, and entry into the Electronic Security segment.

2009

New manufacturing unit in Manaus/AM.

2013

It acquires the companies Automatiza and Engesul, coming to perform also in the areas of access control, emergency illumination, fire alarm and detection.
