    Application for management of business communication, the Controller is compatible with all the Impacta line, generates reports, graphs and has countless other facilities which provide agility and  economy in calls. Available in two versions: Controller Pro, which bills 1 PABX and Controller Corporate, for billing up to 20 PABX. With the Controller it is also possible to execute the billing of the external calls in CIP 850 and CIP 92200.

    1 - Calls are not shown in the billing machine.

    Re-register the billing password in the Billing Machine software.
    Check which types of call are configured to be recorded and if the billing machine is communicating with the database.

    2 - Software Controller does not open.

    Check if the Billing Machine is active - the software icon will be green. 
    Make a test disabling the Firewall and antivirus of the computer. Enable the software to function in compatibility mode with Windows XP.

    3 - Without communication with the Switch.

    First register the billing machine password in the Billing Machine software. To have access to the billing password, open the billing machine and access menu Configuration > PABX > Configure Password...
    The default password of the PABX is 1234. Check with the technician maintaining the password configured in the switch.
    Check if the ICTI manager is communicating with the PABX and ensure that the ICTIversion is compatible with the Switch version. Click here and access the compatibility table.
    If the problem continues, deactivate the Firewall and antivirus of the computer. As a last resort, reinstall the applications.

    First register the billing machine password in the Billing Machine software. To have access to the billing password, open the billing machine and access menu Configuration > PABX > Configure Password...
    The default password of the PABX is 1234. Check with the technician maintaining the password configured in the switch.

    4 - Without communication with database.

    Check the path of files CONTROLLER.FDB and TARIFACAO.FDB in file "aliases.conf" (by default: C:\Program Files\Firebird\Firebird_1_5).
    Check the path of the database in the billing machine in Configuration > Database, and the address 127.0.0.1 must be configured if the database is installed in the same computer. If the Database is installed in another PC of the network, place the IP address of the computer where the database is installed.

    Check how many Firebirds are installed in the machine using the Controller.
    Controller 1.0 is only compatible with Firebird 1.5. Controllers Pro and Corporate are compatible with Firebird 1.5, 2.0 and 2.1. In this case copy file aliases.conf of the folder of Firebird 1.5, and paste it in the folder of the other version.
    Deactivate Firewall and antivirus of the computer.
    Check if the two processes fbguard and fbserver are being executed in the task manager. As a last resort, reinstall the Controller.
